Hi and welcome!
I’m Shannon.
I'm so happy you're here.
Why I'm here:
I’ve been listening closely to people talk about dieting for years.
What I’ve heard over and over:
“If I weren’t on a diet/plan, I’d eat everything in sight.”
“I don’t even know how to eat anymore.”
“I wish food just wasn’t a thing.”
There’s such a loss of self-trust because it’s been years of following external rules instead of your own internal wisdom.
There’s another way.
In today’s world, you're often told…
You should look a certain way, and if you don't, you should make efforts to change that.
You should intentionally try to lose weight if you don't fit into society's 'acceptable' standard for body size.
You should diet to be healthier, despite mounting evidence that shows chronic dieting leads to poorer health.
